Our Hosts: Randy Yohe & Michelle Lewis

Randy Yohe brings local knowledge, insight and expertise to the table after covering the Tri-State legal and political system as an award winning broadcast journalist -- or as they call it now "MMJ" -- as in multi media journalist. His experience in the television news Randy and Michelleindustry includes reporting, anchoring, editing, and producing compelling news stories. Randy co-produced and hosted WSAZ-TV’s well-received series“Healthy Tri-State’s biggest loser.” That came after losing 100 pounds and then sharing health and wellness tips and insight with the viewing public. Randy is an adjunct professor and broadcast journalism instructor at Ohio University Southern. He has a B.A. in Telecommunications from Michigan State University and an M.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri. But, as to music, Randy had a transistor radio glued to his ear from the 5th grade on, he was a roadie for a rock band in his 20's a club disco DJ in the 70's a radio DJ in the 70s' 80's and 90's and has emceed countless music festivals.

Michelle Lewis began working at Marshall University's WMUL as a student announcer, producer, newscaster and fundraiser. She worked in commercial radio for 10 years before joining West Virginia Public Broadcasting. From 2007 to 2014 she was at the West Virginia Humanities Council as director of development and then rejoined West Virginia Public Broadcasting in February 2014 as the major gifts officer. Michelle also is a talented singer, a beloved member in good standing with The 1937 Flood, which frequently features Michelle’s gorgeous vocals in shows and on recordings.
